But “Self-care” is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Feeling happy & emotionally health keeps you in control of your emotions.
Of course, it’s good to care for others; just don’t use guilt as an excuse to not care for yourself.

I always thought I had to hide and that this would be my very nature. Today I know this is not true. It seemed to be an identity that I’ve accepted early in my life based on fear and what I thought it took to survive. I realized I’m not the only one.
